Keeping your home crumb free is important. Crumbs rich in sugar or sugary stains attract pests such as ants. When you have a house that is free from crumbs you get rid of such pests as well. A dust free house is another way you can keep pests away from your home. Dust and animals that set up themselves in dusty areas as well can adversely affect your overall health. The spaces between your carpet and the floor is bound to easily get dusty and is a common place for pests to set up their homes.
Molds is another thing that you should look out for in your home. There are a number of insects that love molds and set up homes in them because it is their source of food. Molds are food to some insects such as the clover mites. The clover mites are harmless to humans but that does not mean other harmful insects cannot be harbored here. Pests that are attracted to molds will continue multiplying and building homes in the mold for as long as it is not controlled. With some antibacterial spray however, you can get rid of the molds and pests for good. Use the spray anywhere you see the mold marks especially on areas near and around the window.
Despite all windows being closed, it is not uncommon to see crawling insects. Cracks and crevices can also be an area that pests can use to invade your home. Unwanted pests can be denied access into your home when you seal cracks and crevices. You can keep insects from invading into your home by sealing cracks which you can hire someone to do or do it by yourself.
